High Quality Carbon Credits

Generated by BioLite’s clean cookstoves

BioLite is an energy company that designs breakthrough products to cook, charge and light your life off-grid.

Stoves that burn clean and cook more efficiently

Over 3 billion people still cook over smokey, open fires. BioLite stoves help address the climate and health implications created by these fires.

CO2 Reduction

Open fires release significant amounts of CO2 and produce a staggering 25% of global black carbon emissions. This is more than all the world’s cars and trucks combined

Our stoves reduce emissions and particulate matter by up to 78%.

Health

Open fire cooking causes over 4 million deaths per year. Conditions like heart disease and COPD are directly linked to the toxic smoke inhaled by the billions of people still cooking over biomass fires.

Our stoves reduce emissions and particulate matter by up to 78%.

Financial

Families spend disproportionately large amounts of time and income collecting wood and paying for kerosene.

A family can save $173 saved on fuel by replacing traditional cooking methods with BioLite Stoves. For customers living at or below the Poverty Line, this annual savings represents 15% of their income going back into their pocket.
